William Hector (pictured right) is a Miami-born playwright, novelist, and artistic director whose works cover Formula 1, the afterlife, ancient Greece, and Kipling backpacks.

An alum of the University of Miami and Miami Dade County's Playwright Development Program, William’s recent work includes Turbo Hybrid, Unbound, and the Knight Foundation New Work Miami award winning immersive play: G7: 2070.

William is the founder and Artistic Director of the Coconut Grove Theatre Festival, an annual festival of new play readings by South Florida creatives, brought to life in the heart of Coconut Grove.

William believes his writing should be like this web design: clean, to the point, and include at least one dog.
